For my Gigabyte motherboard, after installing the operating system, the hardware reports an unknown device and vendor for the PCI standard ISA bridge, with PNPID values of VEN_1002&DEV_439D&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_00. Does anyone know where such drivers can be found? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Now people usually install XP; I haven’t dealt with motherboard drivers in several years. Go to WWW.MYDRIVERS.COM and take a look.
The PCI standard ISA bridge is a bridge from PCI to ISA. Since there are no longer ISA slots on modern motherboards, this driver is no longer useful and can be ignored. Solution: Right-click on “My Computer” – Properties – Hardware – Device Manager – right-click on PCI Standard ISA Bridge – Update driver – (install automatically, without an internet connection). If that doesn’t work, reinstall XP with SP2; this version of the system already has this driver built in. It’s done once it’s installed.

The system installed with p3 should be fine, I guess! ! ! It’s too much trouble; I don’t want to install it. I just created a Ghost backup, so I’ll use that for now. Thank you! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
