Should the PDS project grant batch processing line permissions to all piping personnel?

It is well known that during the PDS design process, the batch processing function is an excellent way to identify model errors. However, some PDS administrators believe that granting this functionality to all piping staff would give them excessive privileges; if such staff make mistakes, it could lead to serious problems such as the deletion of the model. On the other hand, not allowing them access to this function imposes a lot of hassle on them when they need to check the model by selecting individual lines – they have to seek help from PDS administrators every time, even for just 3–5 lines – which reduces efficiency and hinders the progress of the project. Please share your views on what would be more reasonable to do (Which of the following three methods do you think is more reasonable?) ) A. Permissions are available to every piping designer. B. My choice: B. Permissions available only to the partition owner. I believe everyone should respect and understand one another. As the original poster said, for piping specialists, the batch processing single-line method is a good way to check for model errors. However, this inevitably increases the workload of PDS administrators, and if the piping specialists make mistakes, it can lead to serious problems such as the deletion of the model. Similarly, as a PDS administrator, he also doesn’t want to have to go to the PDS administrator every time, even just to draw 3-5 single wires. Therefore, I personally think that it is a better option to grant permissions only to the section leaders. After the piping personnel conduct a verification check, errors are reduced, and it is relatively better if the area supervisor handles things thereafter.
Going against the rules, extracting ISO diagrams will not have any impact on the model. These are two separate systems, and their data is not stored together. We have no restrictions; it’s just that when using PDS, one should not alter the default parameters arbitrarily. If something is not clear, do not change the parameters without understanding them first.
Each place has its own practices; in some places, people aren’t allowed to install software freely on their computers, and we just prevent them from modifying the operating system； The goal is to complete the work better; it’s just a matter of what the leader decides, so it doesn’t hold much significance.

Permissions should be available only to the person in charge of the partition; a moderate level is appropriate. Determine how many people should have these permissions
