Types of powder coating: 1. Alcohol-resistant casing paint (9#) This series is designed specifically to provide solvent resistance for plastic surface coatings. Its main advantage is its excellent resistance to alcohol; once the paint film has dried and cooled, it remains protected even when exposed to over 99% anhydrous ethanol under a pressure of about 500 g, with no exposure of the underlying surface occurring after at least 50 cycles. It offers excellent adhesion, hardness, and ethanol resistance on hard plastic materials such as ABS, HIPS, and PS, allowing the products to be cleaned with alcohol-based cleaners and facilitating easy application. Suitable for the surface coating of plastic casings in electrical appliances such as CD players, televisions, and audio equipment. Application range: Plastic products, electrical appliance casings, toys, etc. Resin type: Mainly thermoplastic acrylic resin. 2. Ordinary casing paint (8#) This type of paint is a general coating for plastic surfaces. It exhibits excellent adhesion to hard plastics such as ABS and HIPS, and features easy application and ease of spraying. Suitable for the surface coating of plastic casings in electrical appliances such as CD players, televisions, and audio equipment. Scope of application: Plastic products, electrical appliance casings, toys, etc. Resin type: Primarily thermoplastic acrylic resin. 3. Two-component flexible spray paint (S00C#) This two-component series uses two-component polyester as the main film-forming substance; the surface of the paint film is elastic like soft rubber, it is transparent in color, and has a very gentle matte finish that creates a subtle aesthetic effect. Various colored primers can be formulated to achieve different results on different substrates and color backgrounds. It offers excellent adhesion to hard plastics such as ABS, making it ideal for plastic products that are frequently in contact with hands, such as hair dryers, telephones, portable audio-visual devices, CD players, cameras, telescopes, household items, and electrical appliances. Resin type: Mainly two-component polyester resin 4, and one-component flexible spray paint (B00C#). This series uses self-drying polyester as the main component for forming the film; it has a transparent color, and the surface of the paint film features a matte finish. It can be used in combination with the SOOC two-component series. It is easy to apply, and it offers excellent adhesion to rigid plastics such as ABS, HIPS, and PS. Suitable for the surface coating of products that come into frequent contact with hands, such as the casings of various CD players, televisions, high-end audio equipment, and other electrical devices. This product consists of two components: an oil agent (B00C) and a solvent (S901). The resin type is primarily self-drying polyresin. 5. Fluffy paint (R#): This series belongs to single-component fluffy paints; acrylic resin serves as the main component for forming the film, while more than a dozen non-toxic powdered pigments of different sizes and colors are used as auxiliary components. It provides good adhesion to hard plastics such as ABS, HIPS, and PS. The paint film has a fluffy texture, and the thickness of this fluffiness can be adjusted as desired. There are many different styles available, and it offers excellent flexibility and resistance to fading, making it an ideal coating for various hard plastic surfaces. Application range: Various plastic products such as recorders, color TVs, toys, etc. Resin type: Mainly thermoplastic acrylic resin. 6. Watermark paint (4#) This series of paints is made using high-quality pigments together with special solvents; it is easy to apply and use. This product can create various patterned water effects or cloud-like marble patterns through different flow speeds and movement patterns, thereby enhancing the antique appearance of the finished product; it yields excellent results on hard plastic surfaces such as ABS and HIPS. This series of paints offers various effects and different colors to choose from. Resin type: Mainly solvent-based coatings. 7. Low-temperature nylon spray paint (N1#). This series uses acrylic resin as the main component for forming the film; it comes in two types, which are cured and formed into a film by baking at temperatures of around 80°C at low temperatures or around 140°C at high temperatures. The paint film boasts high hardness and wear resistance, good gloss, strong flexibility, firm adhesion, and protective properties; it is suitable for spraying on nylon substrates. The variant that can withstand baking at 140°C is resistant to alcohol, while the one that can only be baked at 80°C is not resistant to alcohol. Scope of application: Used for nylon products and similar items. Resin type: Mainly acrylic resin. 8. Fluorescent paint (Y8#) This series represents products with special functions in the coating industry; their special functional additives can absorb light energy and store it, releasing it again in dark environments, thus emitting a beautiful yellow-green fluorescence in the darkness. Typically, after absorbing light for half an hour, its luminescent effect lasts up to 4 hours. It is suitable for shell painting and toy painting. The overall performance is determined by the type of paint. Applications include plastic products, electrical appliances, toys, etc. Resin type: mainly thermoplastic acrylic resin. 9. Iridescent pearlescent series (8/9#) The auxiliary film-forming substances in this series are made from materials such as fish scales, pearls, and mother-of-pearl, in the form of transparent flaky powders. When exposed to light, the paint film creates a pearlescent effect through the refraction and reflection of light by these flaky transparent powders; combined with base colors such as gray, white, black, and silver, it achieves the best bright and sparkling pearlescent effect. With a black background, a 100% pearlescent effect can be achieved, offering rich and pleasing colors. On a white background, another contrastive color-changing effect can be seen under soft light, and there are several color-changing effects available for this pearlescent finish. Scope of application: Plastic products, electrical appliances, toys, etc. Resin type: Mainly thermoplastic acrylic resin. 10. PU series paint (6#) – The main film-forming component in this series is polyalkyl acrylate resin; it is typically used as a topcoat. It features good gloss, high hardness, fast drying time, excellent leveling properties, and strong resistance to aging. In addition to being used as a topcoat, it can also be formulated into paints of various colors, but a curing agent must be added to facilitate its curing and formation of a film. Resin type: Mainly polyalkyl acrylate resin 11; paint for PP substrate enclosures (8#). This type of enclosure paint is designed specifically for PP substrates. By spraying a layer of PP primer on the PP substrate followed by applying PP paint, relatively excellent adhesion, hardness, and gloss can be achieved. Suitable for surface finishing on PP substrates. Resin type: Mainly thermoplastic acrylic resin 12; paint for PE substrate enclosures (8#). This type of enclosure paint is designed specifically for PE substrates. By spraying a layer of PP-2 primer on the PE substrate and then applying PE paint, relatively good adhesion, hardness, and gloss can be achieved. Suitable for surface finishing on PE substrates. Resin type: Mainly thermoplastic acrylic resin 13; rubber-based paint that provides a good feel and strong adhesion. Application range: Used for spraying on ABS products, such as mice and microphones. 14. Electroplated paint: good gloss, high hardness, and excellent adhesion. Application range: Used for spraying self-drying paint on substrates for vacuum plating, such as helmets and plated model cars. 15. UV Coating: This UV coating is composed of modified acrylated amino resins, reactive monomers, photosensitizers, adhesion enhancers, and other additives. It can be used as a primer and topcoat for aluminum vapor-deposited coatings on ABS extrusions. The resulting coating exhibits excellent adhesion, strong color correction properties, high gloss, high hardness, as well as significantly improved scratch resistance and other physical properties.
