SW6 is very useful; it includes strength calculations for various types of heat exchangers :)

Many design institutes using STX now also employ it; it’s relatively easy to operate, and it’s convenient to import data into it using HYSYS. Considering the price, it’s quite good
SW6 is mainly used for strength calculations; HTFS or HTRI can be used for equipment selection as well as for the mechanical verification of shell-and-tube units
