I’m looking for the best or most widely used heat exchanger design software in China that isn’t expensive. Thank you
You can go to the heat exchange equipment simulation area to ask about this issue; there, the information available is also quite comprehensive. The commonly used software for simulating material properties includes PROII, Aspen Plus, HTFS, and HTRI, among others
SW6 is very useful; it includes strength calculations for various types of heat exchangers :)
I’m also using SW6, and I think it’s pretty good.
Many design institutes using STX now also employ it; it’s relatively easy to operate, and it’s convenient to import data into it using HYSYS. Considering the price, it’s quite good
SW6 is mainly used for strength calculations; HTFS or HTRI can be used for equipment selection as well as for the mechanical verification of shell-and-tube units
There is another strength design software, LANSYS PV1.2.
The original poster’s question is quite vague – is it a calculation related to manufacturing processes or strength? For strength calculations, domestic software includes SW6 and Lansys, while foreign options are PVELite; ANSYS is used for analysis and calculation. Commonly used for process calculations are PROII, Aspen Plus, HTFS, and HTRI, etc
Thank you to all the experts. What I mainly want to ask about is structural design software
Then SW6 and Lansys will do; SW6 is used more frequently
