Heat exchanger design: Heat medium: Synthetic conversion gas (various mixtures, with percentages). ) Inlet temperature: 380°C, outlet temperature: 60°C. Inlet pressure: 2.8 MPa. Refrigerant: deionized water; inlet temperature: 40°C, outlet temperature: saturated state. Inlet pressure: 1.0 MPa. Is there something wrong with this question? I used to calculate it for flow rate~ I’ve never done it for pressure. This is an assessment question; please give me some guidance and list the calculation formulas. There must be a flow rate of synthetic conversion gas; otherwise, it is impossible to determine the heat load on the heat exchanger and to carry out calculations. The person who came up with this question might think that the designer has a good understanding of his process conditions and knows the flow rate of syngas in that device. If there is flow rate (either volume or mass, as pressure is present), the component conditions for syngas are available, and pressure drop requirements exist, I can carry out the calculations. :)
