After learning CAD, what certification exams or similar are available for students still in school?
After learning CAD at school, mechanical engineering departments usually organize an exam once a year to issue certificates. The first certificate one takes is the **Junior Draftsman Certificate** (if I remember correctly, this certificate requires using CAXA for drawing; anyway, it’s more or less the same). I already had such a certificate when I graduated from school, but now I’ve lost it! I’d like to ask the experts: I’ve been working for over a year and have been doing drafting work all this time. Are there any other certificates I need to obtain? I mean, it’s good to have a resume when changing jobs.
You can take the exam; usually, teachers at schools arrange for it to be taken. Back then, it cost 110 per test. Ask your teacher – it’s a basic certificate
Sure, but I don’t think it’s necessary. Current AUTOCAD training is very superficial; the so-called intermediate level only teaches how to create simple 3D models. Those with a foundation in mechanical drawing can definitely learn it on their own.
Our school offers exams for Level 1 and Level 2 certificates; the cost is 60 yuan for Level 1 and 100 yuan for Level 2
One can take the exam for Advanced AutoCAD Engineer, an internationally recognized certification by Autodesk, though it doesn’t carry much value. Getting a position as a researcher is not bad
