I would like to ask fellow sailors: what are the advantages, disadvantages, and applications of three-way and four-way connectors? In design, we often encounter situations where a four-way connector could be used, but we usually opt for two three-way connectors or other alternatives to avoid it. Is it because four-way connectors are difficult to find or not easy to use?
