Salt accumulation in our factory is not severe. . Electrodesalination also has a decent effect
Pump evacuation is quite common. Vapor entrainment. Charge the tower. Submerged tower. Salt formation at the top of the tower. Even the catalyst can cause blockages in the tubes of the distillation tower. I’ve encountered them all.
In addition to salt formation, corrosion is also a problem. In recent years, with the increased use of sulfur-containing crude oil imported from abroad, corrosion in the fractionation and stabilization systems has become more frequent and severe; in particular, leaks in the pipelines carrying the upper gasoline fractions occur quite often.
The trays or floating valves in the fractionation tower have fallen off, resulting in abnormal operation of the side streams!
When the sulfur content is high. Corrosion is also very common!
