I would like to ask the experts here: who knows which methanol production projects have been built across the country and what are their production capacities? What other methanol projects are under construction?
Lutianhua’s 10,000-ton-per-year methanol distillation unit was officially put into operation on September 11, 2006； The 10,000-ton-per-year methanol plant in Zhumadian, operated by Henan Blue Sky, stopped operating again due to compressor issues after being restarted the day before yesterday; the time for its restart remains uncertain at present ； The 10,000-ton-per-year methanol plant in Yuanping, Shanxi is scheduled to be shut down for maintenance around that date, with the maintenance period initially estimated to last around days ； Inner Mongolia Tianye’s 10,000-ton-per-year methanol plant was restarted recently; the equipment is currently under commissioning, and the plant’s initial estimate is that it will be able to produce products within a few days ； Golmud Zhonghao, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons, is currently in the process of equipment installation; trial operation is expected to begin in October 2009
China Coal Longhua’s 25-ton methanol plant can start operations by May 2009.
