I have spent some time trying to identify the entities in China that use various gasification technologies, but it has taken a lot of time; the problems are as follows: 1. The compilation is messy, and the data is not accurate. 2. Opinions vary. 3. It’s not clear whether these are the latest statistics. To address these issues, I’m posting this thread; those who wish to learn about the domestic users of Lurgi, GSP, Texaco, Shell, four-nozzle, and space furnace gasification technologies can find the latest statistics and the most accurate information in this thread. Kaiyang in Guizhou does not use GSP, but its technology is derived from the same source as GSP; it should be Colin
Manufacturers of Lurgi gasification technology: Yunnan Jiehua has over 10 units, some of which have been modified to use the BGL technology. Shanxi Fertilizer Factory (Tianji) has 5 units, Henan Yima Gasification Plant has 5 units, and Lanzhou Gas Factory has 5 units – although this plant has ceased operations. Harbin Gas Factory also has 5 units. Shanxi Lu’an has 6 units, which are currently in the testing phase. Other companies such as Xinjiang Guanghui, Datang Group, and Guodian Group also intend to use Lurgi gasification technology; the exact number of units remains to be determined.

Correction: The figure of 1.2 million cubic meters per day for gas production at the Yima Gasification Plant of Henan Gas Group refers to the period before 2005; after the second phase was put into operation in 2006, the production volume reached 3 million cubic meters per day. Latest updates: December 2008 – Henan Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. is a state-owned wholly-owned company established with the approval of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government, through the restructuring of Yongmei Group, Heemei Group, Jiaomei Group, Zhongyuan Dahuahua, and the Provincial Gas Group. Among them, Yongmei Group ranked 130th among the top 500 Chinese enterprises, 4th among the top 100 Chinese coal enterprises, and topped the list in terms of output value and profits among industrial enterprises in the province. Coking Coal Group ranks 37th among China’s top 100 coal enterprises. He Mei Group ranks 35th among the top 100 coal enterprises in China. Zhongyuan Dahuahua is a large state-owned fertilizer and chemical enterprise under provincial jurisdiction. Shengmei Gas Group is the largest coal-to-gas enterprise in Asia.

The multi-material slurry technology developed by the Northwest Research Institute in China is now widely used. Could some statistics be provided? The preliminary design for Huahua used GSP technology, but it was later changed to the multi-material slurry technology

GSP is capable of producing 2000 T per day; I’m not sure how they manage to do that – it seems suspicious. The owner is too bold. For HT-L, there are only PuYang LongYu and AnHui LinQuan at present, with a production capacity of around 700 T per day. From both economic and technical perspectives, it would be better for HT-L furnaces to have a capacity of 1200 T per day
