Volute and labyrinth?

Today I saw the centrifugal compressor structural manual written internally by our company. It contains the component "volute". Looking at the drawing, it seems to be a "maze". It seems that it is not the same thing. The volute refers to the image metaphor of the machine shell. The labyrinth is a sealed form
The volute should refer to the casing of the centrifugal compressor, which forms the flow path of the gas, and its shape is described as a volute. “"Labyrinth" is generally called "comb tooth", which refers to the sealing form at the end of the compressor shaft or between stages. The volute is an image name. It is the exhaust cylinder of a centrifuge and is named after its shape like a snail's shell. The labyrinth is a form of sealing. There are many kinds of seals in centrifugal compressors, and labyrinth seal is one of them. Labyrinth seals are divided into integral seals and inlaid seals.
