What is the basis for selecting the heat exchanger as calculated in HTFS?

HTFS generates many heat exchangers with different shell diameters and tube lengths. It’s confusing to decide which one to choose – it seems like any of them could work. Please advise, experts.
1. Consider equipment layout； 2. Consider a reasonable design and manufacturing of the equipment (a length-to-diameter ratio of 6–8 is generally suitable; 4–10 is also acceptable), along with low cost ； 3. Make full use of the available temperature difference and pressure difference as much as possible.
It is generally not advisable to choose heat exchangers that are too long.
