Determination of the safety factor for plastic vacuum equipment

In accordance with the provisions of HG20640-97 \"Plastic Equipment\", the safety factor for plastic vacuum storage tanks is set at 6 for vertical tanks and 7 for horizontal tanks. The wall thickness calculated according to these regulations is quite thick; as far as I know, actual manufacturers of PP and PVC equipment generally use much thinner wall thicknesses in their production. In GB150-98, the safety factor for steel vacuum tanks seems to be set at 3, which is a value that is quite close.
