Is V7 running slowly?

I was wondering, for those using AspenV7 on the forum, is V7 running very slowly? It’s almost beyond my tolerance level Is it a problem with my computer?
It’s relatively slow; I think so too.
Uh, I hope it doesn’t have the same kind of problems as Vista – being flashy but lacking substance. In that case, it’s better to go with 11.1
The V7 I installed is the same; its speed is not in the same order of magnitude as that of 11.1. Fortunately, I didn’t uninstall 11.1 before installing it
Personally, I feel that it’s only a bit slow when starting up v7; once v7 is launched, the speed is quite good when you enter data and run the program. However, this also depends on your computer’s specifications; the better the specs, the faster the speed. Hehe
The main issue is that the Aspen software uses too many programming languages and has numerous interfaces; in particular, running the original 16-bit programs written in Fortran on modern 32-bit systems.
What configuration do you think is best for running this program? I only have 512MB of RAM, and I heard that people are too afraid it will be slow, so they don’t even install it. . . .
It is a bit slow; it’s much slower compared to 2006. But for a desktop PC it doesn’t matter, while for a laptop, 2006 is just fine
