Regarding the analysis, packaging, and transportation of phosphoric acid: 1. Although there are **standards**, is there a rapid analysis method for phosphoric acid? 2. If sulfuric acid is present in phosphoric acid, at a concentration of 10%, increasing by 10% increments up to 90%, how should such a mixed acid be analyzed? 3. If there is nitric acid and sulfuric acid in phosphoric acid, does anyone have any good analysis methods? 4. Those among you who have analyzed phosphoric acid and are familiar with it – in what kind of packaging is the phosphoric acid used in your factory? 5. Is your phosphoric acid useful for filling takeaway products? 6. I’m from Bengbu, Anhui. I wonder if there are any phosphate manufacturers in the surrounding area? 7. Phosphoric acid concentration – does anyone among Haiyou know about this?
There is a book on phosphate fertilizers: it’s part of the Fertilizer Engineering Series 4: Phosphoric Acid, Phosphate Fertilizers, and Compound Fertilizers; it provides detailed descriptions. There are also separate books on packaging and transportation. It seems there’s another book on phosphoric acid engineering or technology, which contains descriptions on this topic as well.
1. The packaging of thermal phosphoric acid varies depending on its concentration: it weighs 40 kilograms per barrel for 85% concentration, and 35 kilograms per barrel for 75% concentration. The packaging material is plastic. 2. A simple and quick method of determination involves using the specific gravity of phosphoric acid at different temperatures to calculate its concentration; however, I don’t have this information available at the moment, so it cannot be provided. 3. Sulfuric acid is mixed in phosphoric acid: Please refer to my article \"Determination of phosphorus pentoxide and sulfur trioxide in wet phosphoric acid\" (available in the analytical data sharing section). 4. If nitric acid is present in the mixture: it is possible to first determine the specific amounts of phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid in that mixed acid, then add sodium hydroxide; by subtracting the amount of sodium hydroxide consumed by phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid, the specific amount of nitric acid can be calculated. The above opinions are for reference only.
Does anyone here know anything about it? Requesting help again
Old Ox, I heard that Jiangyin Chengxing produces phosphoric acid; it’s not too far from Bengbu, right?
Moderator, could you send me the materials you mentioned? I am looking for a chart showing the relationship between phosphoric acid concentration, specific gravity, and temperature, for simple sample testing.
I have worked in phosphate plants for over a decade; the packaging used includes tanks, IBC containers, 20L barrels, and 200L barrels – usually PE barrels of food-grade quality!
