Our facility has newly installed a 600,000-ton anthracite production unit, but during operation, the gas returning to the furnace always contains oil and water, which causes coking in the furnace channels and makes heating difficult, thus affecting normal operations. The gas purification process involves washing with hot ammonia water, followed by washing with cold circulating water, then use of an electrostatic tar catcher, and finally the gas is sent back to the furnace via a Roots blower. We are seeking solutions to this problem
Choosing an appropriate vapor-liquid separation device before or after the fan may be necessary due to various factors such as fouling on the heat exchanger walls, which can result in the actual cooling efficiency of the cooler not reaching the designed level; this is just my personal opinion. :handshake

It seems to be the project carried out by our company; the first phase has an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons, while the second phase has a capacity of 750,000 tons. If this situation occurs, I think it would be necessary to install a row of Spin capture devices near the pipes that lead to the vertical furnace – two such devices per furnace – along with several water seals below
I think it is necessary to install moisture seals as well as cool the gas to below 25 degrees, so that the amount of water vapor in the gas will be reduced
Using cross-tube final cooling should work better

Agree with what was said above; however, the chemical production workshop should also strengthen its controls
A liquid level drain should be installed at the lower part of the pipeline and emptied regularly, as the water in the pipeline is mostly condensate.
A vapor-liquid separation device is added in front of the fan, a cyclone mist catcher is installed behind the fan, a water seal is added to the coal gas pipeline returning to the furnace, and circulation water management is improved to reduce the gas temperature to 20–22°C.
10# hjsmqgs: From your description, the most important thing is that the temperature of the clean coal gas must not be high; it should generally not exceed 30 degrees, and even in summer it should not go above 35 degrees. Otherwise, when the saturated clean coal gas is cooled, there will be a lot of condensate, as well as high levels of tar and naphthalene. It is also necessary to ensure that the water seals along the pipelines are unobstructed so that the condensate can be separated promptly. In particular, the main pipelines carrying coke oven gas in the basement need to be checked regularly. Our factory has encountered situations where nearly a quarter of the pipeline was blocked by water; there was water even in the horizontal pipes, and the nozzles were filled with oil mixed with water
