Is the steam pipeline designed in the intermediate tank area of Plant 2 connected to the crude methane pipeline? Is it a tank used for maintenance? Is it for purging organic impurities from the cleaning tank, or is it intended for insulation in winter in the north?
It was probably used for purging the pipes with steam before driving the machine; a blind flange should be installed； Normally, when it is necessary to enter the storage tank for maintenance or cleaning, or to introduce steam to boil away any remaining methanol and ensure a safe working environment.
It should be used for cleaning and replacement; pure methanol does not require insulation.
The crude alcohol tank is prone to the formation of paraffin crystals, and steam is used to remove these crystals; our factory does this regularly. If there is steam in the alcohol tank as well, it might be used for fire suppression
