Original startup pressure testing and leak-checking procedures for the hydrogen and nitrogen high-pressure compressor station
After the compressor is installed, conduct a trial run: 1. Interlock test: Before starting the compressor, a procedural test must be carried out by manually operating the oil pressure relay, water cut-off relay, limit switches, pressure relay, etc., to ensure that their wiring is correct. 2. Oil filling: Remove the oil filling connections for the cylinder and packing, and fill it with oil using electric or manual methods. The lubricating oil should be discharged from the end of the oil pipeline, with no dust present in the discharged oil. 3. Running-in: Remove the intake and exhaust valves of each cylinder stage to carry out no-load operation, allowing all moving parts to grind together properly. Check whether there are any abnormal phenomena such as heating, vibration, or noises in the moving parts during operation. 4. Purging operation: The gas piping is installed after being purged in accordance with the requirements mentioned earlier. Blowdown operation is intended to remove fine impurities in the gas pipelines. 5. Boost operation: During the purging operation, there is a certain increase in pressure, especially in the low-pressure stages, which can rise to near the normal operating pressure. 6. Safety valve test: After the pressure-raising operation is completed, a safety valve venting test is carried out. 7. Continuous operation: After voltage-raising operations and various tests on auxiliary equipment, 24 hours of continuous operation is required to record various data, thereby laying a solid foundation for long-term continuous operation. 8. Displacement adjustment test: Compressors equipped with a displacement adjustment device need to be adjusted to match the displacement corresponding to that type of device, and various data for different displacements should be recorded as a reference for operation. 9. Vibration measurement: Under operation at rated pressure, the vibration of the main components is measured to serve as a reference for maintenance during long-term operation. 10. Disassembly inspection: After the above operation, disassemble the main components for inspection to determine whether there are any abnormalities in the key parts. 11. Final operation: After disassembly and inspection, reassemble the device and run it under no-load conditions to draw conclusions; thus, the testing is complete.
