The selection manual for safety valves provided by our supplier states that if the 10th digit of the safety valve model is B, it means drain is only available in the body; C indicates drain is only available in the cap; N means there is no drain in either the body or the cap; P refers to a plug body (1/8\" BSPP) with drain in the cap; and R denotes a plug body (1/8\" BSPP) without a drain cap. I currently only have the safety valve diagram with N in position 10 (where N stands for no drain in body or cap), so I am unable to compare it with safety valves that have other letters in position 10. First of all, I don’t know much about safety valves; based on technical books, it seems that the components include a valve body, a cover, a drain for discharge, and a drain plug. The symbol B indicates drainage only through the valve body； C indicates drain in cap only, discharge only through the cover ； N indicates no drain in body or cap; discharge through the valve body or cover is prohibited ； P denotes plug body (1/8\" BSPP) drain in cap – the valve body blocks the flow while the cover is used for drainage ； R indicates that the plug body (1/8\" BSPP) is in place with no drain cap, and there is no discharge from the cover. As I said above, it’s best for you to ask the supplier.
