What is the role of the cross-wire between the first and second stages of the converter? Apart from turning on the cross-line to heat up the second stage during temperature increase, I’d like everyone to discuss when the cross-line is used during normal production
This pipeline can also be used when the second-stage conversion temperature drops; it is also utilized for the catalyst in the sulfurization hydrogenation reactor :) :)
Our factory generally uses this balance line only when starting up the furnaces for heating. It is not used during normal operation, as there are two mixing valves available; it is better to use those valves to regulate the temperature. The catalysts in the two reactors are likely to be different – our factory uses a deoxygenation-type catalyst in the first reactor and a regular-type catalyst in the second. The peroxide level is higher in the first reactor, and frequent use of this cross-connected line might have an impact on the catalyst in the second reactor.
