Do all current spiral plate heat exchangers have spacing posts?

:):):) I plan to have a specialist manufacture a spiral plate heat exchanger, or buy one with a heat exchange area of around 4 m2. The books mention that there used to be versions without spacers, meaning they were simply made by rolling steel plates together; I’m not sure if nowadays all such heat exchangers come standard with spacers When hiring a craftsman to do it, there will probably be spacing posts as well~ It’s very necessary to increase the level of turbulence~
Of course there is, otherwise how can the spacing be ensured?
