The so-called torque refers to the shaft output force of the engine, that is, the force acting on the wheels through the transmission mechanism. To put it bluntly, it is the force that drives our cars to move. The greater the torque, the greater the power. Whether it is torque or power, it is actually the force emitted by the engine by burning the mixture of gasoline (diesel), oil and air, converting chemical energy into thermal energy, and then into kinetic energy. Torque and power are just the angles from which we explain it. That is, there are different explanations for the different ways of using the power generated by the engine, that's all. Why are there two different explanations for the same force? The answer is that when the application situation is different, the expression and magnitude of force will be different, and this is the difference between torque and power.
This is true in cars. The greater the power, the greater the top speed of the car. The greater the torque, the stronger the acceleration capability of the car.
The relationship between torque and output power should be proportional. Usually the starting torque is the largest, so the starting power of the general gas is also the largest. The specific manifestation is that the starting current of the motor is larger.
