When repurposing an existing tower, it was found that weeping occurred at the base of the tower. Is there any practical way to make the tower operable without changing the diameter of its base?
The vapor load at the lower part of the tower is low, resulting in liquid leakage; without changing the tower diameter, this leads to pore blockage. It needs to be determined after performing hydraulic calculations for the tray.
