:Lol: Indicators of proper compressor operation and adjustments (1) Lubrication system – The oil pump pressure should remain stable; too low a pressure will result in reduced oil flow, which can lead to wear of the friction components. Excessive pressure increases operational resistance and leads to higher fuel consumption. The temperature of the oil pump should not be lower than 5°C; an optimal oil temperature ranges from 45°C to 60°C, with a maximum of 70°C. The oil level in the crankcase should be kept at 1/2 level. The oil drip rate of the shaft seal is 1 to 2 drops per minute. If oil leakage persists, it should be repaired. (II) Temperatures of various components: 1. The compressor itself should not experience localized heating. 2. The bearing temperature should not be too high; it is generally between 35°C and 60°C. 3. The temperature of all moving friction components should not exceed 30°C above room temperature. 4. The evaporation temperature is 8~10°C lower than the temperature of the saltwater. 5. The suction temperature of the compressor should be 5–10°C higher than the evaporation temperature. 6. The condensation temperature should be 3–4°C higher than the water temperature. 7. The temperature difference between the inlet and outlet water for cooling should be 3–5°C. 8. The exhaust temperature of a single-stage compressor should not be lower than 70°C, nor higher than 145°C (25–30°C below the flash point of the refrigerant oil). (III) Noise during machine operation: When the compressor is operating normally, aside from the clear up-and-down moving sounds of the intake and exhaust valves in the cylinders, there should be no knocking sounds coming from the cylinders, pistons, piston rods, bearings, or safety devices. (IV) Other areas: 1. The pointer of the pressure gauge should swing smoothly and evenly; if the swinging is violent, it indicates that there is air in the system. 2. The safety valve pipeline and the start-up assist valve pipeline should not heat up. 3. Frost should form on the suction pipe of the compressor and the inlet part of the suction valve, but no frost should form on the cylinder block. (5) Inspect the condenser and start the water pump to supply cooling water. (VI) For the brine system, it is necessary to check the operation of the brine pump, whether the lubricating oil is in good condition, if there is any leakage of brine, and whether the specific gravity of the brine meets the requirements. After these checks, the agitator of the evaporator can be turned on.
