From a professional and optimal selection perspective, a liquid ring vacuum pump with a closed-loop design, using toluene as the working fluid, would be the best choice; in such a design, the circumferential speed of the impeller should be increased slightly. Compared to any other vacuum pump suitable for this application, it has basically no disadvantages (excluding price considerations). Almost all advantages: 1. No pollution; 2. Not easy to damage, remains functional for years – essentially zero maintenance required; 3. Highest toluene recovery rate
