How many are the relatively good DCS manufacturers in China at present? Who are they respectively? Our company is planning to install a DCS system, and we are interested in those from Zhejiang University. In fact, Xinhua is also good; back in the day, when it was part of Heli Shi, Zhejiang University’s Zhongkong system was an excellent one. Xinhua pioneered many developments in the power sector. Later, Xinhua was acquired by GE, but it still produces some products under its own brand, and those products also have good performance. Heli Shi has continued to grow in the fields of power and nuclear energy. Zhejiang University has two subsidiaries, Zhongkong and Zhongzi, which are more competitive than other manufacturers in the chemical industry.

Among domestic DCS manufacturers, Hilscher and Zhejiang University Control Systems are the better options, as they have demonstrated strong performance in various fields.
We’ve been using a set for a few years now; its failure rate is low. Personally, I think it’s better than those from Hollyland
Based on the usage of these companies’ products, my personal opinion is that the order should increase sequentially in the sequence of Shanghai Xinhua, Beijing HollySys, and Zhejiang University Zhongkong. However, the stability of the hardware also depends on the on-site environment; if the wiring is carried out strictly in accordance with relevant technical requirements, it will **promote the stable and reliable operation of the hardware**.
In the chemical industry, Zhongkong is quite good; LISI specializes mainly in nuclear power, but it is also actively expanding into other fields. Xinhua offers excellent DEH solutions for power applications, though it was acquired. If the budget allows, consider Yokogawa – its reliability and after-sales maintenance are much better. For even higher budgets, Honeywell is a great choice as well; it’s really excellent too
Domestic DCS manufacturers such as LS & HT and Zhejiang University Control System are quite good, as they support domestic technologies!
I have used many DCS products in the past, but among those available in China I’ve only used those from Zhejiang University Control Systems; I feel there is a difference compared to foreign brands. I recommend choosing Yokogawa if the budget permits, as it offers good value for money.
In terms of system stability, HONEYWELL is still the better choice; there are still instability issues with the software used in their central control systems, and their hardware also doesn’t meet their own standards
Regarding domestic DCS systems, Zhongkong is quite strong and has a large number of successful projects; for our new projects, Zhongkong is the manufacturer chosen for the domestic DCS systems
