Have anyone replaced the conventional catalyst with a DCC catalyst? How effective is it? What is the distribution of the products?
This catalyst is suitable for heavy oil catalytic cracking, and in my opinion, the properties of the feedstock have a significant impact. I’ve seen in other factories that it works very well when used by others, but when we use it ourselves, the results aren’t good; it’s always related to schemes for producing more gasoline and liquefied gas
So, I wonder if the catalyst doesn’t have much of an impact here? Is the reaction temperature the key? :handshake
They can be used in combination, but it is necessary to take into account the high ABD of the DCC agent, as this may affect the fluidization condition of the device; therefore, the operating conditions at the loosening points need to be adjusted promptly.
