What substances in water are removed by chemical water treatment, and what is removed by desalinated water? Those who know it, please tell me!
In power plants, chemical water treatment refers to the preparation of desalinated water. Since in the past, desalinated water was produced through ion exchange processes that required acid and alkali for regeneration, this process of producing desalinated water is a type of chemical displacement process; hence it is called chemical water treatment. What is removed are the salts in the water; the desalinated water that results is \"pure water\" with no ions or only very few ions.
