The reverse current that is generated within the electrolyzer under low-current operation causes the anodic active coating in the electrolyzer to corrode and dissolve due to electrochemical effects; this leads to a **decline in the electrolyzer’s performance**. The polarizing rectifier is used to eliminate this reverse current, thereby protecting the anodic active layer.
Has anyone encountered the same problem as us?
However, the use of polarized rectifiers poses significant risks; Tianjin Daguhua experienced an explosion due to improper operation of such rectifiers!
Generally, the voltages of the anode and cathode with respect to ground are similar. How much is the difference between you? The levels are not absolute due to grounding.
I would like to ask then: if it’s too high, does that mean the ground potential is also high? What is the relationship between them?
