What is the difference between those with five and those with six power transistors in high-voltage frequency converters?

Our company is bidding for high-voltage frequency converters. Some of these converters have five high-power transistors per group, while others have six. Is it true that the more high-power transistors there are, the better? What is the difference between having five and six of them? Which is better, five or six?
Whether it is rectification or inversion, less is better.
