I’m an outsider, and I’m wondering whether the ventilation systems for industrial buildings and the steel grating floors inside such buildings must be ordered by professionals in civil engineering
Can ventilation be coordinated with civil engineering by the HVAC team? Maybe they are more professional. The specifications for the steel grating should be determined by the civil engineering team; once they are set, anyone can place the order
1. The civil engineering team should define the completion conditions. 2. Your sales department should handle the procurement. 3. Civil engineering will conduct the final on-site inspection
From a construction perspective: 1. The ventilation system should be installed by specialized personnel, while the civil engineering team only needs to prepare the required openings as specified in the drawings. 2. Steel grating plates (grille plates, walkway plates) are installed by the civil engineering team. As for ordering: the civil engineering department specifies the specifications, models, and quantities; the business department handles the procurement, followed by inspection of the materials upon arrival.
The ventilation systems in the factory buildings should be provided by the HVAC specialists; for materials such as steel grating, the civil engineering team only specifies the requirements, models, and quantities, while the actual procurement is determined according to what is stipulated in the contract. Some are ordered by the construction party, while others are by the project owner; the relevant specialized departments just need to ensure quality control. :hug:
