Our company's refined methanol tank is equipped with a nitrogen seal and an internal floating plate. If the refined methanol tank has a nitrogen seal, do I need to purchase an internal floating plate and a breathing valve?

If there is nitrogen, the internal floating plate is not necessary, but the breathing valve is required!
Both nitrogen sealing and floating roof can be used. Generally, internal floating roof storage tanks are used for those with higher volatility.
Storage tanks with internal floating roofs are better because they can reduce the volatilization of methanol, which is what our company does.
If you have nitrogen, you can use a fixed-top tank, but the inner floating plate is not needed, but a breathing valve is a must!
Our company has an internal floating roof, but without nitrogen sealing, which is not very reliable. Especially in summer, if the refined methanol cannot be cooled down, the amount of volatilization will be relatively large, and the liquid level will rise and fall and enter the air, which may form explosive gas.
