Method for Compiling Product Models of Power Station Boilers JB/T 1617-1999 (Replaces JB1617-75) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Scope This standard specifies the method for compiling product models of boilers. This standard is applicable to the compilation of product models for power station boilers. 2. Technical requirements 2.1 The product model of power station boilers consists of three parts, which are connected to each other by hyphens, in the following format: 2.2 First part of the product model: A – code of the boiler manufacturing plant (company), represented by several letters. 2.3 The second part of the product model consists of two components, B and C, separated by a slash; where: B – the rated evaporation capacity of the boiler (or maximum continuous evaporation capacity), expressed in Arabic numerals, with the unit being t/h ; C — Rated outlet pressure of the boiler medium, expressed in Arabic numerals, unit: MPa. 2.4 The third part of the product model consists of two sections, D and E. Wherein: D – the fuel code for boiler design, represented by Pinyin letters, in accordance with the following rules: Boilers burning \"coal\" are indicated by \"M\" ; Oil-burning furnace is indicated by “Y” ; Gas burner is indicated by “Q” ; Furnaces burning other fuels are indicated by “T” ; For boilers whose original design already takes into account the use of two combustible fuels, the codes for these two fuels can be listed side by side; for example, a boiler that can burn \"coal\" and \"oil\" is denoted as \"MY\". Combustible ‘oil’ and ‘gas’ boilers are denoted by ‘YQ’. E — Boiler variant design sequence number, generally represented by Arabic numerals; the specific value is determined by each factory (company) itself. 2.5 Examples of boiler model numbering for power station boilers: 2.5.1 For a power station boiler manufactured by a certain company, with a maximum continuous evaporation capacity of 670 t/h and a medium outlet pressure of 13.7 MPa, designed to use coal as fuel and representing the third design variant, its model number is: ××-1025 / 18.3-M003
