It means that a welding joint with a diameter of 1 inch is 1 welding equivalent (1 dyne). Ten 1-inch welding joints are 10 dyne, and two 5-inch welding joints are also 10 dyne. This statistical method only considers the diameter of the welding joint and does not consider the influence of wall thickness, so it is only applicable to welding joints with a wall thickness of less than 8 mm. For every additional 2 mm over 8 mm, a factor of 0.1 is added.
