Urgent help needed: I need to design a device in which a hot fluid flows outside the tubes, while heat transfer oil flows inside them. The conditions outside the tube cannot be changed at the moment; it is necessary to increase the heat transfer coefficient of the heat transfer oil inside the tube by more than 50%. It’s not clear whether heating a static mixer inside the tube can achieve this. Is there an existing relationship between the NU number and RE for thermal static mixers? I would appreciate your guidance. Thank you.
