I have a question for everyone: what are the various specifications for gasoline and diesel that meet National Standard III? I’ve looked it up online, but there are different opinions! For example, regarding the olefin content in gasoline, some say it’s 30% while others say it’s 35%

The quality standards for gasoline are as follows: Specification: National II, National III, National IV. Research method octane number ≥90, ≥90, ≥90. Sulfur content, ppm: ≤800, ≤150, ≤50. Aromatic hydrocarbon content, v%: ≤40, ≤40, ≤60* (the combined content of olefins and aromatic hydrocarbons shall not exceed 60 v%). Benzene content, v%: ≤2.5, ≤1.0, ≤1.0. Olefin content, v%: ≤35, ≤30, ≤25. Oxygen content, v%: ≤2.7, ≤2.7, ≤2.7. The quality standards for diesel are as follows: Specification: National II, National III, National IV. The National III standard for gasoline was released a long time ago, and those who posted above have already provided the answers. The National III standard for diesel has not yet been officially issued; it seems that the draft version already exists, with the sulfur content supposed to be below 350 ppm.
The National III gasoline standard came into effect on December 31, 2009 (with exceptions such as Beijing and Shanghai); the National IV standard has not yet been finalized and can only serve as a temporary guideline. Due to the significant pressure from environmental protection and the automotive industry, the National Standards Committee has asked the Beijing Institute of Rock and Mineral Sciences to accelerate the development of the National IV gasoline standard; the specific details are not clear.
