Ammonia burning in sulfur recovery units is becoming increasingly common, but analyzing acidic gases containing ammonia poses a major challenge. How do you guys handle this?
We are currently unable to analyze our aminoacid-containing gases; for now, we can only use material balance methods to roughly determine the contents of NH3, H2S, and H2O.
