When using PE recycled material to produce sheets, how can the color of these sheets be improved to achieve a white appearance? Apart from using brighteners, are there any other methods?
You can add other polymers for blending or modification, but cost needs to be taken into consideration in production; generally, the cost of whitening agents is low. Additionally, since you mentioned recycled material, I assume it contains many impurities, which can also have an impact
I use recycled materials, usually those particles made from foreign waste, such as PE98 film and the like
Add barium sulfate? What state is barium sulfate in? Powder form or granular form? I use a single-screw machine, which generally can only handle granular material.
Barium sulfate is in powder form and has a whitening and brightening effect.
