In the pure oxygen catalytic partial oxidation conversion process, steam is added to oxygen. Is the amount of steam added proportional to the flow rate of oxygen? Generally, how much steam is added per 1000m3/h of oxygen? What is the proportion of steam added to the raw gas? Why? Thank you prawn!
5000 oxygen generally plus one ton of water vapor
The ratio of oxygen to steam is 1: 1 (volume ratio), the steam added to the raw gas is about 0.8 (total steam entering the reformer, volume ratio), and the gas-to-steam ratio can adjust the generation of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
The total steam volume ratio to the raw gas volume is equal to 1.8. Then the percentage of C in the raw gas is 0.64, so the water-to-carbon ratio can be equal to 2.8. But the percentage of carbon in our data raw gas is 0.42, so the water-to-carbon ratio is close to 4. Why? Thanks for answering the previous question! 1. The ratio of steam to oxygen is controlled at 1: 1. In the initial production control, the ratio is controlled at 0.5: 1, but now the trend of control is gradually increasing, generally the control is 1: 1 ; 2. The purpose of adding steam to oxygen is to increase the flow rate of oxygen leaving the oxygen nozzle and reduce damage to the nozzle. ; 3. The ratio of steam added to the raw gas is controlled to be between 2.5 and 5.0 (water/carbon), usually around 3.5. After conversion, it can be seen that ; 4. Adding more steam can reduce the outlet methane content. After it is greater than 5.0, the effect is no longer obvious and it also increases the load of the subsequent heat exchanger. ; If too little steam is added, carbon deposits will form on the upper part of the reformer, clogging the catalyst and reducing the activity of the catalyst. In addition, the methane exported from the reformer will increase ; 5. When the catalyst burns carbon, control the water-to-carbon ratio not to be within this range, but to be higher.
Thanks for the reply. Can I ask you a question? What is the minimum temperature for oxygen control in your reformer?
It is required to be above 650 degrees, but sometimes it cannot be reached. 600 degrees is enough. Compared with the ignition point of H2, there needs to be a slight temperature difference.
Under normal control, the outlet temperature of the reforming furnace is around 910 degrees.
Please tell me, brother, what should I pay attention to when driving in the transformation section? Many thanks!
Can you talk about the hidden dangers of transformation?
