Are there tolerance-welded valves available for American standard valves?

It seems that all American-standard valves are flanged valves paired with tolerance welding flanges; does anyone know anything about the issues related to the use of tolerance welding flanges?

In China, valves with tolerance fit are used for sizes ≤DN40, while according to American standards flanged valves are used; welded valves are employed when necessary. It seems that valves with tolerance fit do not exist there. Please provide a detailed explanation
