Do vacuum pumps always have to be installed on the ground?

:):):) I seem to have seen it on a forum; it needs to be installed on the ground. Besides making maintenance easier, what other reasons are there? ~~~~~~~~~ I’m designing a small vacuum tank 3 meters tall... hehe:)
Where do you want to install it? Not only during maintenance, but you also need to consider it when using it, right?
It is installed indoors, and low vacuum levels are sufficient. What factors need to be considered regarding the installation height of the vacuum pump? :):):)
The dry vacuum pumps in our plant’s process system are installed on a 20m platform... As for those upstairs, I don’t think it matters; it’s convenient for operation, inspection, and maintenance, and there’s no issue with pressure head (in my opinion)
It is not necessary to install them on the ground; the vacuum pumps in the slag treatment units used in coal chemical industries are installed on platforms.
Actually, the location where it is installed is determined by your working environment; it’s not up to you to decide where to install it
