In the design of ice machines, why is it specified that certain pipelines need to have insulation covering a length of at least 2 meters, and that insulation is not required beyond that distance? Is it to prevent heat from entering the ice machine? Also, regarding the location of the safety valve: it is stated that insulation is provided over a distance of 2 meters, while no insulation is provided over 1 meter – so where does that leave the safety valve? Why?
The insulation of equipment differs from that of pipelines. It usually refers to insulation based on the method used for equipment, while other cases involve insulation using the methods applicable to pipelines.
Is it for insulation? It should be for insulation!
It’s an propylene compressor; why is there a requirement of at least one meter in the area without insulation, at the safety valve location?
