Some suggestions for the moderators of the [Public Safety Area] and [Methanol Area]! ‘The ’Public Safety Area’ currently has 7 moderators, while the ’Methanol and Its Derivatives Discussion Area’ has 9 moderators; however, their enthusiasm is extremely low – many posts are not carefully read or rated, and the area is full of spelling mistakes ； The questions raised by members for help have not received any responses from any of the moderators; posts sent in the morning go unnoticed until the next day. With too many moderators, 4 or 5 is enough.
The number and quality of moderators are determined based on the conditions of each forum section; I think it’s sufficient for everyone to manage their own area properly... The number isn’t an issue...

I can’t agree with the poster’s suggestion; it would be better to make you the moderator or assistant in the methanol section – I want to see how you manage that area. I’d like to ask the original poster again: what exactly do you mean by enthusiasm? Can it be stated explicitly?

It seems you’re also a perfectionist, a person driven by emotions! ! ! Dare to expose others’ shortcomings! ! But the safety engineering discussion area isn’t like you described! That’s a bit exaggerated.
Currently, the forum includes ratings in the management performance, as if to encourage moderators to rate posts as soon as they see them. In fact, that really eliminates the meaning of our scoring. Personal opinion: Be generous with points for things that are worth it; don’t give points for meaningless responses.

They certainly have their own opinions on this matter; generally, it is determined based on factors such as the number and quality of posts in the forum, as well as its technical complexity. If the original poster has concerns about the number of moderators in these forums, then why not take a look at the number of posts posted in each of these forums on a daily basis? Have you really gone through every post in your section, giving them a rating and correcting all the spelling mistakes? Are questions from members answered promptly? Should replies that have no practical value be rated? Do different people have different opinions on this issue? The others might share my view; I think there’s no point in replying or sharing posts, and it’s better to give low scores or no score at all. Also, does a request for help post have to be responded to? Our managers and technicians who are aware of it will provide answers; for those we’re not sure about? Should I write a few random words just to fill space? Or deceive them?
