What are the reasons for the increase in carbon dioxide levels during pressure swing adsorption for its removal? How should one judge? How to handle it?
If the adsorption time is too long, the CO2 level increases; solution: reduce the adsorption time. Contact the transformation team to reduce the parameters. If the system is not thoroughly purged during the initial installation of the equipment, it can cause the solenoid valves to stick, leading to air leakage. From the perspective of decarbonization alone, the issues may lie in an excessively long adsorption time, incomplete air release, or severe cross-ventilation between various programmable valves. I’m not sure what type of system your company uses – how many adsorption stages does it have, and how many pressure equalization stages? Such problems mainly occur during the pressure equalization process. Generally speaking, it is also possible that the CO2 content in the gas resulting from the transformation is too high; such a situation should be controlled from the stage of gas production
Reason, Solution: Excessive increase in dosage or operation beyond capacity – Contact the control system to reduce the rate of dosage increase. Too low suction pressure – Increase the pressure. Excessively long cycle time – Shorten the cycle duration. Excessive amount of fluid displaced – Reduce the amount of fluid displaced. Poor vacuum effect – Check the vacuum pump and contact a technician for repairs.
