I have a question: the fans used in fixed-bed gas generation are of series C or D; D denotes single-sided air intake, so what does C mean? The air volume indicated on the fan’s nameplate does not represent the actual air volume entering the furnace; how is the actual air volume calculated?
Fans do not come in C type; the D type refers to single-suction, cantilever designs. The nameplate indicates the rated air volume, but there are many factors that affect the actual air volume, so actual measurements are necessary. Current measuring elements work well at first, but they become inaccurate over time due to scaling
