However, issuing basic information in such a general manner is not really a good approach. I think it would be better to write an upload statement stating that the person who uploads the material is responsible should any disputes arise (although generally they won’t be able to take responsibility). The forum should delete the controversial material as soon as it receives complaints. We could consider adopting the measures used by other well-known websites to handle such disputes; for example, Tianya Forum removes controversial posts right away and takes a series of appropriate follow-up actions.
