I’m seeking advice from fellow sailors. The company’s cables are intended to run underground; there is farmland in that area – what are the methods and techniques available to prevent them from being damaged by digging?

Pass the steel pipes, install signs along the route; the drawings are clear and explicit, and cable trenches shall be used for building the structures
For use in farmland, there are no very strict requirements; it simply involves increasing the standard depth from -800mm to -1100mm. If the path isn’t very long, the line is quite important, and you can afford the investment, then you can use sleeves! If it’s too long, it’s not worth it. If possible, the most cost-effective approach is to bury them deep, even at a depth of 1300 or 1500. I have buried cables at a depth of 1800 as well; once the wiring is completed, the cable anchors should be buried in a timely manner, in accordance with the design requirements. Strictly follow the construction and acceptance specifications for cable lines. First, determine whether the cable route is subject to frequent construction work and what the recent plans are ; Second, the depth of the cable trench should not be less than 1.1 meters, and it should be covered with a sand-filled cover plate. Third, lay cable markers along the path. Fourth, conduct regular inspections.
Construction and acceptance should be carried out strictly in accordance with the specifications for cable lines, such as GB50168-2006. From a cost perspective, it is still better to use deep burial, sand-filled cover plates, and marker piles.
1. Armored cables should be used for the cables. 2. Cables buried beneath roads should be laid inside galvanized protective pipes. 3. It shall be laid at different depths according to the various geological requirements along the route where the cable is buried underground. 4. Spread sand on the upper and lower sides of the cable, then cover it with bricks. The width on both sides of the cover brick should be 50 mm more than the outer diameter of the cable.
When laying cables underground in farmland, armored cables must be used. The burial depth must be adhered to strictly in accordance with relevant standards. The cables should be protected by concrete covers, and warning tapes should be placed on top of these protective layers; in addition, marker posts indicating the location of the cables must be installed at the surface.
