Hello everyone. There is a question here: how should one measure the level of a viscous and corrosive substance in a closed container? What method should be used for this purpose? It is also possible to determine high and low levels by only outputting digital signals.

The poster could provide more detailed parameters: what is the viscosity? What is a medium? Temperature and pressure? What is the structure of the tank? Generally speaking, ultrasonic or wide-band radar type level switches should be used; for other applications, more detailed parameters are required!
The SABO radar is good, at a metrological level, but the price seems too high! I guess the original poster doesn’t use a radar with such high precision

The original poster is being too vague – how specific is the viscosity? How corrosive is it? It is irresponsible to require the selection of certain instruments without specifying these conditions! Choosing a radar level gauge blindly can result in unnecessary expenses.

I agree with the view from floor 16, but using nuclear level gauges is mainly problematic due to the complicated procedures required, as well as environmental impact assessments and other subsequent issues – it’s quite troublesome.
