In the transformation system, where does crystallization tend to occur? ? Is it only the air lift tower?
Will there be crystallization during the transformation? This is the first time I’ve heard of it. Could you explain it? They are also eager to learn*learn*. To prevent us from encountering similar issues in production.
In our process, the areas where crystallization is likely to occur are the pipelines after the deionized water heater through which the process gas passes, the ammonia washing tower, the stripping tower, as well as the pipelines carrying aminoacid-containing gas destined for sulfur recovery! Crystallization occurs mainly due to low temperatures, as well as the presence of ammonia and acidic gases in the gas, which facilitate crystallization; therefore, it is essential to pay close attention to the heat tracing of the pipelines!
Ammonia and carbon dioxide crystallize easily, but in these areas the vapor condensate dissolves the crystals, preventing blockages. There’s also the issue of scaling in the demineralized water; if the demineralized water crystallizes, can your boilers still operate properly? This indicates that your demineralized water is of substandard quality; management and adjustments need to be strengthened.
Hehe, indeed there are some areas where changes have taken place, just as the person on the 3rd floor said. Crystallization equation: 2NH3+CO2+H2O===(NH4)2.CO3 ; Additionally, ammonium amino acid (NH4-COONH2) also needs to be produced.
Ammonium carbonate crystallization occurs mainly in the latter half of the transformation process when the temperature is low and there is no heat tracing~! Mainly, ammonium salt crystals tend to form in the heaters for boiler feedwater and demineralized water, as well as in the pipelines ahead of the ammonia washing tower
There was crystallization at the sampling port of our factory
Steam condensate is not added continuously; it is only used to flush the pipes when an increase in pressure difference is detected! I’m referring to the process gas pipeline, not the water side!
Has all the steam in the process gas you’ve converted reacted?
What type of tower is suitable for a saturated hot water tower in coke oven gas shift? (Operating pressure 1.3 MPa)
