I tried several different configuration options; for designs with the same process gas flow rate, some have a bypass for the waste boiler while others do not. I’m not sure which one is appropriate
It depends on where your waste pot design is located; some are after the first transformation, while others are after the third transformation. The bypass is mainly used to regulate the temperature of the process gas; without a bypass, the temperature of the process gas can be controlled by adjusting the pressure in the steam drum.
